We hold weekly Friday night and Saturday morning Sabbath services. They are usually 8.15pm and 11am respectively. We also hold different styles of alternative services throughout the year including; Friday night Rock service, Guitar led music services, Chavurah (bring and share meal) services, informal circle services.
We like to hold different styles of services for people to attend, to enhance the Sabbath experience.
Children and Youth
Services are held at various times throughout the year for the Sabbath and different festivals. We encourage everyone to be active participants during these services and they include lots of music and discussion. Services are advertised in the calendar of events.
Tots services will be on Saturday 20th January at 10am
Family Service and Coffee Morning will be on
These are held to mark each festival throughout the year. There is usually an evening service at 8.15pm on the evening of the start of the festival and a morning service at 11am for the first day of the festival. For Pesach we hold an evening and morning service for the last day of the festival as well.
HIGH HOLY DAY INFORMATION
The High Holy Day tickets will be enclosed with the September Gate for members. Tickets only may be purchased for non-members at a cost of £50.00. per ticket.
Machzor Rauch Chadash will not be available at the High Holy Day services so please remember to bring yours along. They can be purchased in advance via the office.
The service starts at 10pm to which there will be refreshments served at 9pm followed by a study session.
For Chanukah we have a Chavurah (bring and share) meal and a service sitting around tables.
We celebrate with a Spiel which is great fun with lots of noise and laughter, fancy dress (optional) and refreshments.
We have a Seder and service around the table as part of the evening service. Please join us as it’s a wonderful experience.
Friday 2nd February at 6:30pm
For Shavuot we link up with Finchley Progressive Synagogue and Sha’arei Tsedek for joint celebrations, including an evening Chavurah meal and Study sessions, with activities for children and youth as well as adults. In the morning we have a service and celebration Kiddush. It’s a wonderful experience to share a festival with our sister community.
Erev Shabbat services take place every Friday at 8.15pm. Shabbat services are held on Saturdays at 11am.
We have a service followed by a talk from someone directly related to the Holocaust and on Yom Ha’Atzmaut we celebrate with an Israeli party.
